DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1941 (JCS) STATION IS LOCATED ON THE TOP OF BALDY PEAK IN THE SISKIYOU NATIONAL FOREST ABOUT 25 MILES ESE OF CRESCENT CITY AND ABOUT 2-1/2 MILES E OF THE S FORK OF THE SMITH RIVER.
THIS STATION WAS NOT VISITED BY THIS PARTY. THE TOP OF THE HOUSE WAS INTERSECTED. THIS IS A U.S.F.S. LOOKOUT HOUSE.
